Why Actinoid contraction is greater for element to element than lanthanoide contraction.?

(1) Due to poor shielding by 5f electrons, Actinoid contraction is greater than lanthanoide contraction.

(2) 5f orbital have large empty space compare to lanthenoid having 4f orbital, both contains only 14 electrons, so due to areas (space) difference for moving electrons,electron-electron repulsion/shielding is poor in actinoids hence all 14 electrons are more attracted towards nucleus leading contraction.
